The story
Surfolk is a community-driven brand expressing creativity and art through sustainable fashion, film photography and surfing. Inspired by surf culture, a shared love of the ocean and the coastal way of life, it offers reusable film cameras, vintage surfwear, beach supplies and roadtrip accessories.
Born in 2021 out of the surfing city of Newcastle on the East Coast of Australia during the Covid-19 lockdowns, Surfolk grew from a desire to live against the grain and outside conventional ideas of hurry and hustle. The brand is passionate about environmental and social sustainability and crafting quality, ethically made products.
Today, Surfolk is a growing creative community where people celebrate life, share stories through film, and meet others who embrace slow coastal living. Independently owned and operated, it invites people to find their folk.
