Laura King is the CEO and founder of Heiych, and a mother of two boys. She was the driving force behind corporate fashion label 400 Co. for over a decade. Laura leads the creative direction of every Heiych bag, taking care of the drawings while trusted workshops help bring the designs to life. She founded Heiych in late 2024 in Brisbane with a goal of creating minimalist, functional bags women genuinely love using every day.
The story
Heiych is a female-founded Australian bag brand designing convertible bags for the modern multi-tasker. Each piece effortlessly transitions from tote to backpack for hands-free ease, and is lightweight, unisex and made for parents, travellers and professionals. The collection combines structure and softness, organisation and ease, so you can move seamlessly between work, motherhood, travel and everything in between.
Founded in late 2024 by a working mum in Brisbane, Heiych is a family business shaped by real feedback from the women who carry the bags. The name and brand were inspired by the founder's two boys, H and H, and a need to simplify everyday essentials without compromising style.
