Clare Spelta founded Bon Maxie in 2015 while on maternity leave, making earring holders by hand before growing the brand into a full range of bags, wallets and accessories. Based in Queensland, she is a mum of two, including a son with a rare genetic condition, and built the business as a remote-working environment with a specialised team so it could work around her life.
